No chance encounters

I took my dog for a walk tonight and was walking by McDonalds and a woman passed and she commented on how beautiful my dog is. I stopped and said thank you. She immediately started talking about her dog that she had to put down a few weeks earlier. I decided to take this chance encounter as an opportunity for healing for her as I could see her dog beside her wagging his tail. I told her that I'm a spiritual medium, and asked if she wanted a message. She said yes, so I described her dog and told her the dog wanted me to tell her she made the right choice. Her face lit up and the happy tears started to flow (that's what I do - I make people cry in 10 seconds or less). She suddenly became embarrassed, thanked me and went on her way. I felt really good about it as I feel it was something she really needed to hear.

I walked on, and not 2 minutes later I noticed this perfect origami crane right in the middle of my path. A paper crane can be a symbol of hope and healing during challenging times. Was this a sign? I'm not sure, but it's pretty cool and it now has a place in my home.
